How we collect, use, and protect your information at Proxy-Prints (Proxy Prints LLC, Phoenix, Arizona, USA).
Information We Collect
When you place an order or use our site, we collect:
- Order details — your name, email address, and shipping and billing address.
- Deck data — the deck URLs and card lists you submit for printing and validation.
- Payment information — handled by our payment processor. We never store your card numbers on our servers.
- Information collected automatically — your IP address, browser and device type, and pages viewed. With your consent, this also includes analytics and session-replay data.
- Checkout snapshots — if your checkout is interrupted, we temporarily store the details you entered (including email, address, and IP) so we can help you recover the order.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Process and fulfill your orders
- Ship your proxy cards to the address you provide
- Send order confirmations and shipping notifications
- Provide customer support
- Detect and prevent fraud and abuse
- Meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations
- With your consent, measure site usage and show and measure advertising
Legal Bases (EEA / UK Visitors)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, we process your personal data on these legal bases: to perform our contract with you (processing your order); your consent (analytics and advertising cookies, marketing email); our legitimate interests (securing the site and preventing fraud); and to comply with a legal obligation (tax and accounting records). You may withdraw consent at any time.
Cookies, Analytics & Tracking
With your consent, we use third-party analytics tools to understand how visitors use our site and to improve it. These tools provide:
- Usage analytics — site traffic and how pages are used.
- Session replay and heatmaps — recordings of how visitors interact with pages.
- Approximate location — derived from your IP address.
These tools record real usage data — including recordings of your session and approximate location — not merely anonymous totals. They load only after you accept the relevant category. Strictly necessary cookies (for the cart, checkout, and security) are always active. You can change your choices at any time, or disable cookies in your browser.
Advertising & Remarketing
With your consent, we work with third-party advertising partners to show you ads and to measure how our ads perform, including remarketing. Under California law this activity may be considered “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out at any time by declining the advertising category, by enabling Global Privacy Control in your browser, or by emailing us (see Your Privacy Rights).
Third-Party Service Providers
We share the minimum information necessary with providers who help us run the business — payment processing, print fulfillment, shipping and delivery, transactional and marketing email, cloud storage for order records, analytics and advertising, and website hosting. Each operates under its own privacy policy.
International Data Transfers
We are based in the United States, and several of our providers process data in the US. Where data is transferred from the EEA, UK, or Canada, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.
Data Retention
We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfill your order and to meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Checkout snapshots used for order recovery are kept only for a short period and then removed. Analytics data is retained according to each provider's policy. You may ask us to delete your personal data as described below.
Your Privacy Rights
EEA / UK (GDPR). You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data; to object to processing; and to withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
California (CCPA / CPRA). You have the right to know what we collect, to delete and correct it, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal as a valid Do Not Sell or Share request.
Canada (PIPEDA / Quebec Law 25). You may access your personal information and withdraw consent. You can reach our privacy contact below.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@proxy-prints.com.
Data Security
We use industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your information in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to limit access to it.
Children's Privacy
Our site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date, and we may ask you to review your cookie choices again when the changes are significant.
